About Me

My photo
She is as deep as an underground tunnel and bright like a full moon on a warm summers night. Her purpose in this world is to challenge the impossible and conquer the undefeated. The world is her fortress and its satiny caress leads her through her life's journey. Embrace her, for her soul is but an open book, a mystical adventure waiting to be discovered...

That's Law

We started day two with brunch at a cute spot by the name of Cafe 21. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and lots of thought was put into the presentation. I indulged in the eggplant sandwich and a fresh mixed green salad with a watermelon and strawberry dressing. After eating ourselves silly, we decided to take a walk and further explore San Diego. First stop Ross! A very fancy shop that very few have heard of.
After squeezing in some shopping we relaxed for a bit and went out again to explore Old Town San Diego. This led us to La Jolla where we stood on a cliff and witnessed the most beautiful view of San Diego. It smelled strong of raw seafood and we could hear the sounds of very large sea lions sunbathing on rocks next to the cave below the cliff. I find it interesting that there were large signs that spoke of the dangers of the cliff, however this didn't stop parents from letting their spawns run wild. We took in the sights and hopped in the car to the next adventure!
Apparently Nobu has been mentioned in Drake and Future's song and we saw it on an episode of the Kardashian's, so we decided to check it out. It was cool... the tempura shrimp sushi roll was delicious but the popcorn and taco's we had when we left were even better. After dinner we went to Were Wolf and sang Mary J. Bilge's Real Love at the top of our lungs in honor of karaoke Tuesday.
In the midst of celebrating life, we received word of another life taken at the hands of another human. My friends and I watched the video in utter disgust and sadness. That could have been a male member in either of our families. How do we learn to tolerate differences? Why are we so obsessed with everyone else, justifying our reason to hate who and what we don't understand? We all went to bed with prayers of hope for our black kings.
On day three we left San Diego in route to Huntington Beach where we got to experience Ruby's Diner. There were hundreds of people enjoying the beautiful weather and emerald green waves. Next stop Bicylce Resort and Casino in Los Angeles...
No matter what it looks like, we have to live in our purpose and enjoy life while doing it. That's law.
